二十四節気 「雨水」
凍てつく大地に陽気を帯びた日射しが当たり、命が微かに動き出す。
一滴、また一滴としずくが落ち、氷に閉ざされていたもみじの葉も水とともに流れてゆきます。古今東西を問わず、人々は水の流れる音に寄り添って暮らしてきました。そして水の流れが始まる地点を大切にし、縄を張り、崇めてきました。
「流／りゅう」は「龍」となって水神となり、全国に数多ある龍神社、瀧神社となりました。
古代中国において正月は「雨水」の時期でした。生命活動の始まり、すなわち「流れはじめる時」が一年の初めと定められているのです。
